Okay folks before you go off and scream your little hearts out in a debate, discussion or rant please consider the following. Please never, ever create a thread which you know will start fights. If you would like to talk about a touchy subject make it a discussion and back up your personal opinion with facts. Always remember that if someone has a different point of view, they are not evil. They are human. Everyone is allowed an opinion and don’t attack someone else because of their opinion. Never try to guilt trip a person and if someone turns defensive apologize and/or rephrase your words. Further arguing will not help in the least. Also never assume or use stereotypes. Twisting words and ignoring what is being said is critical. And finally, if there is no agreement in sight just stop. You do not have to admit defeat; just agree to disagree with the other person. If you don’t the conversation will turn into a fight and no one really wants that.
